Order allowances are measured on your last 30 days of orders. Going over never pauses syncing or alerts and there is no overage charge - the app shows your usage above and tells you when it is time to move up a plan.
Straight answers
Do you see my customers’ data?
No - never. ProfitShield strips customer information before anything is stored. The app does not request Shopify’s customer scope at all, and order payloads are reduced to totals and line items before they reach our queue or database. Names, email addresses and postal addresses never arrive.
Where do the numbers come from?
From your Shopify store only: products and their cost per item, collections, discounts, and orders from the last 60 days. Nothing is estimated or generated. Where product costs are missing, those products are excluded from the maths and the app reports the coverage rather than guessing.
Do I have to change how I run discounts?
No. You keep creating discounts in Shopify. ProfitShield reads them, grades them and warns you - it never edits your products, prices, discounts or orders.
What happens when I uninstall?
Your store data is deleted within 48 hours of uninstall, and Shopify’s shop/redact request is honoured as a backstop so a missed notification cannot leave anything behind. Nothing is kept for analytics.
